As its name implies, USB Secure is a program designed to protect your USB flash drives, by allowing you to set a password. It can be easily configured, even by less experienced users.
After running its executable file, USB Secure places an executable file on the respective USB drive. When accessing it, you are required to set and confirm a password that will be used every time you want to view and modify the protected data.
USB Secure also comes with a few options for more experienced users. For example, you can switch to a different password.
On top of that, you can disable the auto play feature, hide the autoplay list containing USB Secure or disable the execution of the tool on auto play, as well as disable the master key. Last but not not least, you can edit owner details (password, name, phone, email, address), as well as uninstall the program straight from the main frame.
The program runs on a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, and instantly applies security changes to the USB drive. No error dialogs have been displayed throughout our evaluation and USB Secure did not freeze or crash.
